Downtown Preference Bill Passes Senate

Downtown Preferences Bill, HB1355, passed the Senate on May 16, 2007. Lt. Govenor Pat Quinn and the Illinois Main Street Program urged lawmakers to pass this Bill, requiring that the state give preference to historic properties located in central business districts when locating its facilities.
